We founded dfinanz because we wanted to make a difference, we wanted to help bank customers achieve fairer borrowing rates, but there are others who we want to help as well, that's why we've adopted an activity-based approach towards sponsoring organisations whose work creates real differences within our communities.
For every home loan that is successfully refinanced via the Fair Rate Market, dfinanz will donate $100 to one of our sponsored organisations, and its our customers who will help us to decide which organisations receive these donations*. By successfully refinancing your home loan with dfinanz, you'll also be helping the following organisations to benefit by your success as well!
Earthwatch is a global community of dedicated volunteers and researchers driven by the desire to make a positive impact on the planet through the power of scientific inquiry. For more than 40 years, Earthwatch has pioneered a unique model of citizen science, offering citizens the opportunity to work alongside leading scientists in field sites around the globe. With their help, researchers obtain the valuable data they need to support a healthy planet while volunteers experience a sense of connection to community and the natural world.
The Fred Hollows Foundation’s vision is for a world where no one is needlessly blind and Indigenous Australians exercise their right to good health. Currently over 32 million people around the world are blind. Of this, 4 out of 5 people who are blind do not need to be and 90% live in the developing world. Restoring one’s sight is powerful. With sight restored a young person can go back to school; an adult can return to work – lives and communities are transformed. The Foundation recently commissioned PwC to quantify the impact of restoring sight on a global scale. This work showed a return of $4 for every $1 invested in the developing world.

*If a Fair Rate Market customer successfully refinances their home loan however fails to nominate which charity they would like dfinanz to make this $100 donation to, dfinanz will then select the charity to receive this donation.
